Master's programme at KIT
The Master's programme in Regional Science/Spatial Planning at KIT expands education in the field of urban and spatial research to include an international perspective with a focus on the Global South. In this programme, students accordingly:
- critically examine the concept of development and its understanding,
- learn about governance processes and regional management in an international context,
- gain insight into international planning theories and planning systems in the Global South.
The close integration with the other Master's programmes in the degree programme, which are carried out in collaboration with Latin American universities, ensures intensive exchange with all students and the inclusion of their personal experiences.
