Marion Hitzeroth holds a degree in economics and has been a research associate at the Institute of Regional Science since 2004. She is the program coordinator for the master's program in regional science/spatial planning. In research and teaching she focuses on questions of regional economics and on methods of empirical social research as well as statistics.
